haoma

Meet Haoma, a new plant-based skincare range.

What to Love: I love the brand’s statement, From the Earth for the World, which says it all when it pertains to their philosophy on the products that they offer. Their mission is two-fold, the first is skin-focused and is about rebuilding the skin’s cellular structure using raw ingredients that are sourced from organic suppliers—wherever possible—to help to slow the effects of environmental damage that can lead to premature aging. Another part to love is that with every product purchased, a tree will be planted with Trees.org, their reforestation partner, plus, you can recycle the packaging thanks to their partnership with Terracyle.

The Products: Summer months are when clay-based masks are especially necessary to help draw out impurities that can lead to clog pores. The Earth Mask combines Bentonite clay with activated charcoal to deep clean leaving the skin more radiant and toned. The Earth Scrub, which can be used for both face and body, detoxifies and smooths the complexion with mineral silica that polishes and blue tansy, which appeases inflammation and reduces redness.

WRANGLER

Denim shorts you will want to live in this summer.

What to Love: Denim is a personal decision: stretch, no stretch, straight-legged, wide-legged, and the list goes on and on. Personally speaking, I prefer 100% cotton with a high-waist for both jeans and shorts. This summer I’m wearing Wrangler’s The Reworked Denim Short on repeat. I love the color selection and how they feel lived in from the moment you put them on.

Skandinavisk

Candles that will make your home smell incredible this summer.

What to Love: In my dreams I am escaping to one of Scandinavia’s picturesque archipelagos this summer, sitting lakeside, foraging berries and savoring the sweet life. While that isn’t a reality just yet, I will be living through that dream by enjoying the newest offerings from Skandinavisk. There are many facets to appreciate about this brand including they are a Certified B Corp, which means they have reached the gold standard when it comes to both the environment and social responsibility. This isn’t an easy feat in the fragrance industry, but what they do differently is they prioritize organic ingredients; the wax is formulated from sustainably sourced rapeseed oil in Sweden; the outer packaging is FSC-certified and is made with natural dye—you can read more about their mission here.

The Products: The brand offers a home scent for anyone but right now I am loving Rosenhave—Danish for ‘rose garden’. It has a gentle floral bouquet with notes of alba rose, geranium and blackcurrant buds. I have this by my bedside table and find I don’t even need to light it to inhale this magnificent scent. For a more aquatic and beachside feel there is Hav, an ozonic, salty fragrance with hints of beach rose and hawthorn.
