Bringing Into Your Home The Scent of Spring

If you close your eyes and inhale the intoxicating scent of a Trudon candle, you will be transported somewhere incredible, and for me that’s France. I first discovered the storied candle and fragrance brand when I was living in Paris and immediately was intrigued by the history of the house which dates back to 1643. If you have read ROSE & IVY for a while, you will probably know by now that I am a Francophile and have spent two extended periods in France. Until I can return again, I will keep practicing my French on Duolingo and enjoy striking a match and breathing in their candles, one of my new favorites is Joséphine. This rendition is like walking through a dreamy garden with notes of bergamot that intermingle with a floral heart of Egyptian jasmine, Turkish rose and winds down into a powdery finish with iris and white musks. Another elements to love about these candles are they way they perfume a room without even being lit.
