What does summer taste like to you? To me it tastes like a iced tea or a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade, but with a twist. Over the years, I love experimenting with different fruits and herbs that only enhances the flavor of this classic drink. Fresh edible lavender has been at the market for the past few weeks and while the smell is divine, I wanted to incorporate the edible version somehow. Presto, lavender lemonade was born. The scent of the lavender isn't overpowering, but add a subtle depth to the lemon flavor. It is deliciously refreshing! Might I suggest this for a Fourth of July picnic?
