The art of fashion is something that I am constantly in awe of - whether it be past or present, fashion pieces that resemble art are incredibly inspiring. I usually find myself in impressed with the costume exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art here in New York; however, the current exhibit China: Through the Looking Glass, let me impressed and then some. The combination of new and old couture dresses left me dreaming, from the days of Galliano at Dior (oh, how I miss those storied days) to the work of Cristóbal Balenciaga, it was just perfection. Here are some of my favorite moments from the exhibition. If you are in New York, you should definitely go, the exhibition was extended through September 19th.
