For months I have longed to have breakfast on our porch. There is something just so special about enjoying breakfast 'en plein air'. I am overjoyed that time has officially come - soon we will be surrounded by our garden roses, clematis and climbing ivy. When I think of sunshine, I think of lemons. To celebrate the warmer weather I decided to make an adaptation of this recipe for Sugared Lemon Scones from the latest issue of Food & Wine. They are delightfully flaky, perfectly lemony and the ideal way to start an outdoor weekend breakfast.
