Citrus Vanilla Bean Pound cake with a Blood Orange Glaze
One of my favorite things about winter is the fact that delicious citrus is plentiful. While putting together the Winter issue, I knew that a vibrant feature was needed to incorporate this fruit. One of my favorite desserts is pound cake because it is so versatile. Here, I combined vanilla bean a citrus juice into a buttery pound cake and then drizzled it with a blood orange glaze lending a pretty pink shade.
