Fall means a few things - cozy sweaters, golden leaves, crisp air and pie! Baking a pie to me has always been nostalgic in many ways from the crust, when your hands get coated in butter and flour, to decided what goes inside - apples, plums, pumpkin. When I want a quick pie fix I head to Four & Twenty Blackbirds, a Brooklyn staple for many years. With two locations and a few different outposts, you can treat yourself to their trademarked Salted Honey Pie, Black-Bottom Oat or their Salted Caramel Apple Pie. Cheers to pie!
